birthday trip

For my 65th Birthday, Lynn and I went a seven day trip with no plans, reservations, or time schedule. It was so much fun and so relaxing. We went to both rims of the
Grand Canyon, sedona Az, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Lake Havasu, and one night in Las Vegas. Here are a few of the pictures, wish I could put them all in. We got to Spend three days in Mesa, Az with my brother Dave and his wife Yoland. We also got to see most of his kids and grandkids.

We took a boat ride around the island on the Colorado at Lake Havasu.
They have the most beautiful sunsets.

This was our Honeymoon suite, down by Lee's Ferry (JK)

This is Lee's Ferry by the Colorado
River. Lynn's Great Great Grandpa
drowned here back in the 1860's

Before Lynn went on his mission, he worked as a surveyor. He
surveyed this mountain called Camel Back , there was nothing around it.
This is what it looks like today

Lynn lived in Scottsdale, when he was surveying back in 1959,
and look at it today.

We stopped in Sedona, Az.
Dr Quinn was at this gallery, but there were
too many people, so we didn't get her autograph.

Here at last

This is our first blog..........If it is as crazy as me, it should make for good reading.
Also since I am married to the world's greatest artist ( sorry Mary Jo) you may even get
to see some great art. I can't wait to get started, but since I just got a new computer and I don't have any of my pictures downloaded yet, this will have to do.
